Learn about the night sky and the planets and many stars you will hopefully be seeing later on. While still light you will need to get your bed ready for the sleepover, so putting your teamwork skills to the test you will need to get your tent erected before dark.

With the setting Sun, out come the stars and the real observing can begin, as you explore the wonders of the night sky. Identifying constellations and simple objects with both the naked eye and the aid of binoculars you will be amazed at what you can see.

 

Once you have mastered your way around the night sky, you can move on to using the bigger telescopes to find and see even more objects. Fun and games and a nice cup of hot chocolate always go down well before bed.
